Why it matters beyond looks
Loose glass cuts fingers, and open cracks let sand and moisture in, which on Maui is a real problem. Wireless charging also stops working reliably through a shattered back.
iPhone versus Samsung
Samsung backs are held on with adhesive and come off cleanly with heat. Older iPhone backs are bonded to the frame and take more work to remove without damage, which is why not every shop offers it. We do, and the newest iPhones are quick.

Will the new back match my color?
Yes, we order panels in the original colors.
Only the camera lens glass is cracked. Do I need the whole back?
No. The rear camera lens glass can be replaced on its own.
