The green line problem
A vertical green or pink line on a Galaxy is the display itself failing, not the glass. It often shows up after an update or a small knock. A new panel clears it. If yours just appeared, don’t press on the screen, it can spread.
In-screen fingerprint
Most Galaxy S phones read your fingerprint through the screen. A proper replacement keeps that working, which is why we fit the panel and re-seal the frame carefully instead of rushing it. We test the reader before you leave.

How long does a Galaxy screen take?
About an hour when we have the panel. Because the frame is re-sealed, we prefer you leave it with us rather than wait at the counter.
My Galaxy screen is black but the phone still rings. Is that the screen?
