Why back glass used to be a big deal
On older iPhones the back glass is glued straight to the frame and Apple’s answer was to replace the whole housing. We remove the broken glass properly and fit a new panel, which is a much smaller job than swapping the body of the phone.
On the newest models the back comes off far more easily, so it’s usually a same-day repair.
Is it safe to keep using it cracked?
Mostly, but loose shards can cut your hand and the cracks let in sand and moisture, which is a Maui problem. Put it in a case and bring it by when you can.

Will wireless charging still work?
Yes. The charging coil sits under the glass and stays in place. We test it before you leave.
Only the camera lens glass is cracked. Do I need the whole back done?
No. The rear camera lens glass can be replaced on its own.
